Permaculture Design Certificate 'Thriving by Nature': CANCELLED

‘Thriving By Nature’ is a course for anyone wanting to live more harmoniously with natural and social systems. Learn how to create more socially just and ecologically regenerative lifestyles. Learn to recognise the patterns and relationships we find in nature, and how these can be applied to all aspects of human habitation, including in our homes and gardens, communities, social systems, and wider global concepts.

‘Thriving by Nature’ is a recognised Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC), which is the foundation qualification for permaculture studies. This PDC will be particularly useful for people interested in social and urban applications of permaculture.

Course Composition
This course runs over 4 weekends (19 Sep - 18 Oct 2020) with a variety of tutors and guest speakers. You will have a mentor to support you through the course, and a workbook of module notes, further references, exercises, and your own learning reflections.
Assessment will be through reflective journals, plus development of a design.

Course Costs
Investment for the course, including workbook, personal mentoring and assessment is $850, with some subsidies available. This course is delivered by Go Eco, a registered charity providing environment and sustainability education, inspiration, action, and support across the Waikato. Your course fees help create local jobs, and help support our work with and for the community.
