Gain an in depth look at the finer points of traditional techniques in composition, colour and brushwork. Working on your own projects you will be given the opportunity to work "en plein air" within the surrounds of Mairangi Arts Centre when possible.

This class is not suitable for beginners - you may like to send an example of your work to office@mairangiarts.co.nz to make sure this class is suitable for you. Students may work in any medium.

Tutor Annette Dickison has taught painting and drawing throughout the Auckland region. She is a graduate of the Ilam School of Fine Arts in Canterbury and has spent many years teaching art at secondary school level. Her paintings sell in leading galleries throughout NZ.
