Stand up paddleboarders from all over NZ and the South Pacific will be converging on Takapuna Beach on October 31st for a day of stand up paddleboard racing, with two distances, 8km and 16km.
As well as attracting the top athletes, this event is about participation, with classes and prizes for all ages and types of equipment (including normal all-round family paddleboards and inflatable paddleboards).
Each race will have separate divisions for a wide range of age groups.
So whatever type of paddleboard you have, as long as it goes in a vaguely straight line you will be able to enter!
We will also be hosting a Halloween party after the nationals have finished, which everyone is welcome to join. The Halloween party is free to enter but due to capacity, we recommend purchasing a dinner ticket to ensure your spot at the party.
