This vibrant, multicultural choir will offer a dynamic, international concert programme, including works by Sam Pottle, William Byrd, Michael McGlynn, Haydn, and several New Zealand composers.

“Throughout their concert the choir sang with great commitment, magnificent tone and technique and a marvellous feeling for the style of each work. What was surprising, however, was the freshness and feeling of spontaneity, qualities that can only reflect the hours of hard work that have gone in to ensure the success of this concert.” - Stephen Fisher, reviewer for Stuff Palmerston North, January 2018

The NZSSC aims to develop New Zealand’s finest young singers so they can realize their potential in music and singing. Members have the opportunity to learn from some of New Zealand’s most experienced conductors and vocal coaches, to sing with other equally talented young singers from all over the country and to represent New Zealand both here and overseas.
