The Fiordland Arts Society is pleased to be able to host its 39th annual multimedia art exhibition, at Labour Weekend (24-26 October, 2020), in the Fiordland Community Events Centre, 20-22 Luxmore Drive, Te Anau.

The exhibition will feature fabulous metal sculptures by Steve Rumore of Metalworks Wanaka; extraordinary abstract pictures made from a fusion of science and paint by Robert Westaway from Timaru; and breathtaking photographs imbued with emotion and drama by William Patino, who presently resides in Te Anau. As well as these guest artists, there will also be on show: arresting landscape paintings by Caley Hall, honorary member of the Society; plus wonderful creations by many other mixed media artists from Fiordland and wider Southland.

In addition to visual art, on the Saturday afternoon between 2-4 pm: the Society is excited to have a variety of highly talented, local group and solo musicians perform live in an informal setting. All of these performing artists will surprise, totally captivate and entertain you!

Quote Picasso: “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”

Come and enjoy this opportunity!
