Strange News and Under the Radar are ecstatic to announce the welcome return of the marvellous Moon Duo, and their majestic new stage show “The Lightship”, Tuesday 18th February at Hollywood Avondale.

Following the shimmery goodness of their seventh album Stars Are The Light, America’s favourite psych-rock outfit are bringing their mind-blowing visual spectacular to Auckland’s lovingly restored cinema and venue, the Hollywood in Avondale.

The critically acclaimed new show finds Moon Duo, aka Ripley Johnson and Sanae Yamada performing inside a perception-shifting, visual environment light box helmed by artist Emmanuel Biard and inspired by '70s discotheques and the psychedelic experience.

It’s a show Brooklyn Vegan are calling “...a genuine wow”, and “...a truly psychedelic experience”, and with only one Auckland show on this tour, you won’t want to miss it.
