Monthly Traffic Light Walk

Welcome to our monthly Traffic Light walk! Come and get out of the house and find your new potential partner or friend. This month we'll be walking up Mt Eden, while you're there, bring a picnic mat and some food and make it an afternoon to remember, we'll have ice breaker games as well as good laugh and conversation. We have a limited amount (10) of online early bird tickets at $2 each so get in quick to secure your spot, if we do not sell out beforehand there is an option to pay cash $5, however, We have always sold out at our previous events.

Q. How do I secure my spot?

A. To keep the sexes balanced, I will be working on the RSVP list so that we have a maximum of 5 males and 5 females attending, priority is given to people that have transferred the $2 to my bank account (message me for details) so get in quick to secure your spot!

Q. What is a traffic light walk?

A. The basic idea of the walk is that each person receives a bright color band. Red if you are taken (stop), yellow if you are not sure (caution), green if you are single (go). Usually, the color green means that one is single and looking for a relationship. Red means that one is in a relationship, or not looking for one. Yellow may mean "unsure" or "maybe," or could mean that one is in a relationship but still open to advances. The purpose of a stop light walk is to decrease the apprehension associated with approaching potential mates at parties. It also serves the purpose of providing an easy indicator of one's unavailability, to fend off unwelcome advances. The color codes derive from the traffic light signal colors indicating red for stop, yellow for caution/slow down, and green for go.
