This exhibition is in a brand new Art gallery in Muriwai : ‘Ocean View Art gallery.’ With its outlook over the 53km of Muriwai Beach the gallery is the realisation of a long term dream of Photographer Judy Stokes. It is a place to enjoy a selection of the creativity that West Auckland Artists have to offer, including Judy’s photographic work. It’s a place to pop by for that special work of art or gift for someone, a place to come and be inspired or simply a space to sit quietly and enjoy the view through the kauri trees to the beach. A variety of exhibitions will be on show scattered through the year to keep the space changing and fresh. Currently showing- 'Midwinter in Muriwai" is an exhibition with work from 25 artists on show with a variety of mediums; paintings, photography, jewellery, ceramics, weaving and wood sculptures are all to be enjoyed in this warm and inviting space.
