Our local growers and producers sell their fresh fruit and vegetables, free range eggs, bread, meat, fish, cheese, juices, herbs and plants at the market every week. Many of our regular vendors are actually from Lyttelton itself, with a whole swathe more from under 50 kms away. As well as supporting our local growers and producers we encourage locals and visitors to linger, catch up with friends and enjoy a local coffee and enjoy the eclectic mix that makes Lyttelton so special.
The market has been running since the beginning of September 2005 and is as a not-for-profit enterprise by Project Lyttelton Inc.
