Ed's Latin Parties have become a bit of a tradition now and he is ready to go again!

8:00pm - Christchurch Latin Jazz Experience
The Christchurch Latin Jazz Experience brings to Fat Eddies Latin American rhythms based on popular dance music, from a jazz perspective. With a hot rhythmic section that employs Afro Cuban influences, Afro-Brazilian jazz (which includes bossa nova and samba), and the Latin American Cumbia, the quartet is formed by Eduardo Conejeros (guitar and voice), Omar Rodriguez (bass and voice), Carmel Courtney (sax and voice) and Ricardo Stuani (drums and percussion).

10:30pm - Matecito
The Matecito Latin Band was formed by Gerardo Torres after he moved to NZ from his homeland of Peru in 2000. This smaller format 5pc band plays Latin music including Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Cha cha cha and Latin Rock.
