Attending one of the watercolour art classes at Artspace Gallery could be one of the most rewarding and satisfying activities youth could do these school holidays. The subject for this art class is a wonderful winter scene - stormy skies over the southern mountains.
Experienced tutor, Alfred Memelink, will guide youth through their watercolour painting in a fun and friendly environment in a wonderful classroom overlooking the sea. No need to worry about drawing as this will already be done to enable us to focus on the joys of watercolour painting in an enjoyable, step-by-step procedure.
$25 includes all materials supplied, generously subsidized by Watercolour New Zealand Inc.
Suitable for youth aged 7 - 18
Drop your youth off at our gallery and while you head off for a coffee morning at one of the many wonderful Petone Cafes whilst we guide youth through their painting. Pick them up again two hours later with their completed masterpiece that they'll be so so proud of and wearing a smile of creative satisfaction on their dial.
No previous art experience is required - these workshops are suitable for both beginners and more experienced watercolour artists who would like to fine tune their skills and style.
