Aimed at the younger student, this class will develop your child's knowledge and understanding of working with clay as they create a series of small projects.
Your child will get to use their imagination to create as they will learn about coiling, pinching, joining, carving and other techniques; all basic skills, crucial to creating a long lasting piece of art with clay. When they have finished and dried their work, they will have the opportunity to experiment with adding simple and bright glazes.
Over the first few weeks of term students will have the opportunity to work on pieces to display in our student Sea Week 2020 exhibition.
