Your child will work with our tutor Jean, over 8 weeks, to create a series of projects. Learn and extend your knowledge base of the fundamentals of clay. They will get to use their imagination to create projects of their choice, refining coiling, pinching, joining, carving skills and other techniques. When their project is complete they will learn about using simple glazes to decorate before firing, and create new effects on their work.
Over the first few weeks of term students will have the opportunity to work on pieces to display in our student Sea Week 2020 exhibition.
