Jazz In The Vines - Spring Edition

Join us for a spring day of jazz with vocalist Lady Larisa, renowned pianist Ben Fernandez and their jazz band.

Lady Larisa is a well known jazz vocalist in Hawkes Bay but has also toured internationally particularly in the US and Latin America and opened for Michael Bublé. She recently recorded a jazz EP which will be released soon. She loves the styles of Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Dusty Springfield, Sade and Latin music.

Ben Fernandez is one of the top pianists in the country and has a style that can adapt to any genre with ease. He is formally trained in Western Classical music and has a degree in jazz. Ben has composed for movies, jingles and played all over the world. It is really a treat to have him here playing in Hawkes Bay.
