Jazz Festival: Jamming Knot

El Barrio is delighted to host the Jamming Knot trio at this year's Wellington Jazz Festival.
A collection of original numbers, and music from Brazil, featuring the talented Julie Bevan, Nick van Dijk and Aaron Stewart.

With Julie Bevan on guitar, Nick van Dijk on horns and keys, and Aaron Stewart on bass, this session will feature music from Kaleidoscope, the latest album from NZ composer/musician Julie Bevan, plus music from Nick and Aaron also. This album fuses flamenco, jazz, kiwi and Brazilian music styles, celebrating Julie's unique and original multicultural compositions. Julie has a long-standing connection with Brazil, composing many of the tracks on this album while there!
