James Morrison is an Australian born internationally acclaimed jazz trumpeter, multi-instrumentalist, and all round entertainer. He has performed at the big jazz festivals in Europe and US and with jazz legends including Dizzy Gillespie, Cab Calloway, BB King, Ray Charles and many more. James has had command performances for Queen Elizabeth II, and US Presidents Bush, Clinton, and Obama in The White House.

Marlborough District Brass’s Musical Director Kevin Moseley first met James when they toured together with a National Band of New Zealand, and we are privileged to have James perform with Marlborough District Brass in Kevin’s final concert as MD as the Band celebrates 30 years of his musical leadership.
