Introduction to Sanskrit

The workshop is for yoga practitioners, teachers and anyone who would like to learn more and
connect with this ancient, vibrational language.
Tracey McKay studies Mantra, Sanskrit and is a passionate teacher and Kirtanist. It is a practical experiential
course, closely linked to Yoga. She teaches on the Yoga Teacher Trainings at Kawai Purapura and is part of our Kirtan collective that meets monthly.

Workshop content:
Learn how to refine your pronunciation of mantra
Gain an introduction to Sanskrit
Translate this into different aspects of sound (as intoning, chanting and Kirtan)

Study material is included in the ticket. We will have a chai break in between.
This event happens again on Sunday 14 June. A weekend course will be offered in August 2020 that will take the learning further.
