Introduction to Buddhism Course with Meditation

This course will cover an overview of the fundamental philosophy & psychology of the Buddhist path, what we normally call the Lam Rim.

We will discuss the graduated staircase of the different stages of mind training and mind transformation towards the cultivation of positive & altruistic states of mind.

During this course we will cover topics such as:

Precious Human Rebirth
Death & Impermanence
Karma
The four noble truths
Bodhichitta (the ultimate good heart)
Wisdom (the correct view of reality)

The retreat will have moments of silence.
