Do I do good things because I’m a good person, or do I just want to look good in front of others?

"Everything is glaringly earnest, and you will probably laugh in pure self-recognition."- Theatreview

I Know What I’m Doing is an experimental, tender and funny piece that tackles some of life’s biggest questions. Part performance art, part dance, part existential mayhem. This solo show seeks to examine what it means to be human.

What makes a good person? Where do we derive our sense of self-worth from?

What is the root cause of irrational thinking patterns, and can we ever get out of them?

Straight off the back of a successful Auckland Fringe season, and winner of the Basement Theatre Disruptor Award, experimental theatre-maker Melody Rachel brings her unique solo show to the BATS Dome.

Creator: Melody Rachel
Dramaturg: Deborah Pollard
Lighting design: Tyler Fitzpatrick
