About the course:
Our busy minds can become overwhelming – darting from one thing to another, dwelling and obsessing about things and a feeling of being ‘stuck in our head’. These uncontrolled states of mind often lead to worry and anxiety. Because it’s our mind that is out of control we need to fix it by working on our mind. On this half day course our Resident Teacher, Kelsang Luma, will teach how our mind works, how to control our wild mind and how to gain clarity, mental freedom and a stillness within.

This course is suitable for all levels of experience.

The Teacher
Kelsang Luma is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kalpa Bhadra Buddhist Centre in Christchurch and is Geshe-las representative in the South Island. She has been ordained under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for 15 years and has dedicated her life to studying and practicing his instructions and helping people solve their problems through Buddha’s timeless instructions.

Luma gives clear and practical teachings, sharing her deep understanding of the Buddhist path. Through her teachings and example she shows us how we can easily integrate Buddha’s wisdom into our modern lives.

Booking is essential, so please book online now or contact the Centre to book your place.
