The way in which we relate to ourself affects every area of our life. Therefore we need a positive self view and the ability to be strong and happy regardless of life’s challenges and what others may think of us.

Buddha explained the art of self-acceptance and taught many positive thinking techniques for developing inner strength and confidence. On this meditation course we will learn these techniques for enjoying stable self-esteem and happiness, and unlock our limitless potential for self-transformation.

The Teacher:
Kelsang Shechog is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Wellington. Shechog has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 15 years. Her teachings are exceptionally clear and she presents profound ideas in a way that is easily accessible and applicable to modern life. Shechog is much loved for her gentle manner, kind heart and for showing an inspiring example for everyone on the spiritual path.

We recommend attending both classes (25 Apr & 2 May), however it is also fine to attend one of them as each class is self-contained.

Free for Centre Members.
