Girls Rock! Online - Holiday Programme for 12-17 year olds

Girls Rock! Online is an online alternative to Girls Rock! Pōneke – our popular Wellington based school holiday programme for women, trans and gender-non-conforming youth between 12 – 17 years, who are passionate about music. Due to the uncertainty around Covid-19 we were unable to commit to an “in-person” camp at Massey University, however we’re excited that for the first time this programme will be accessible to those based anywhere in New Zealand.

This year we’re offering you the opportunity to participate in two ways. The full programme is available for $80 and will include online mentoring, instrument tuition and songwriting for two hours per day, a goody bag, activity book, workshops and live-streams. We are also offering a FREE programme which will include workshops and live-streamed shows – you can choose which workshops you wish to participate in!

On Saturday 11 July, we will be hosting a listening party at music venue Meow in Wellington between 1.30pm – 3.30pm. This will be live streamed for those outside of Wellington. During the concert Girls Rock! participants will have the opportunity to perform, or share a piece of music written during the programme for friends and family (who are also welcome to attend).
