Tonight Wellington City Council proudly brings you Grove Roots!
Grove Roots presents a stunning showcase where te reo and traditional Māori arts - waiata, taonga puoro, taiaha and more - meet today’s forces of theatre, music and dance.
MC will be the fabulous Polly Filla.
Wellington’s iconic concert series returns to fill your summer nights with the sounds of Aotearoa’s best and brightest! Come early to grab a good picnic spot and enjoy the garden gallery featuring artworks by Campbell Maud and Jonathan Campbell. Then as the sun goes down see the gardens transform with a magical light display by MJF Lighting from 9.30pm - 10.30pm.
