Performance zones, international food, and family-friendly activities throughout the day to celebrate Dunedin’s favourite festival and all the diverse communities that call Ōtepoti home.
The party begins with a call home to the parents – a link to Edinburgh, host of the original fringe festival. Come say g’day to the cuzzies in our Sister City and we’ll share our birthday cake with you. Then kick back and enjoy a great afternoon of free entertainment from Dunedin and the world. Fringe Goddess Tahu MacKenzie will be on hand with special activities for younger Fringe fans. Finish the party with live music from local favourites Tahu and the Takahes and more. Lively up your Otago Anniversary weekend with this exciting addition to the Festival celebrating UN International Race Relations Day.
A selection of affordable international food will be available to purchase. In the event of wet weather, refer to dunedinfringe.nz. Our website and Star Community newspaper (March 12 edition) will also list the full line-up of the day’s events.
