Book now for our next film night – a loving portrait of a father told from the perspective of his four kids.
For my Father’s Kingdom follows Tongan pensioner Saia Mafile’o and the commitment to God that has driven his life, while examining how contemporary secular families deal with the rigours of devout Christian tithing. In trying to understand their father, co-directors Vea Mafile’o and Jeremiah Tauamiti capture a moving story about generational difference, resilience and unconditional love.
Vea Mafile’o will give a director’s talk after the screening.
Film starts at 7pm, director’s talk 8.30pm.
