Fête de la Musique

Enjoy an afternoon of free performances to celebrate the Fête de la Musique/World Music Day. A mix of musical styles will be sending their sounds across Garden Place - from big band to blues and rock. Thanks to Creative Waikato for their help with this venue.

Saturday 20 June 2020:
1100 Art Gecko
1200 Break, then Art Gecko continues
1300 Satin Tractor - bluesy style duo
1340 Hamilton Big Band
1440 JaydeP - singer, guitar duo - blues/blues rock
1500 Hamilton Big Band continue.

Sunday 21 June 2020:
1300 Da Capo Music group
1400 Paul McIsaac - piano and vocals
1500 Cossie Ukes

The Fête de la Musique celebration started in France and went global. Amateur and professional musicians alike can take part. Hamilton is marking the occasion with performances around town on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June.
