At Feast Your Eyes cinephile's and foodies are treated to a movie and a themed cocktail and dessert to accompany!
Join us as legendary director Akira Kurosawa (Seven Samurai, Rashomon) transports us to a 16th century Japan full of colour and revenge for his sumptuous take on Shakespeare’s King Lear, Ran (1985). At the age of seventy, after years of consolidating his empire, the Great Lord Hidetora Ichimonji (Tatsuya Nakadai) decides to abdicate and divide his domain amongst his three sons. Taro (Akira Terao), the eldest, will rule. Jiro (Jinpachi Nezu), his second son, and Saburo (Daisuke Ryu) will take command of the Second and Third Castles but are expected to obey and support their elder brother. Saburo defies the pledge of obedience and is banished.
All tickets are $40 and include a themed pre-show, and dessert and cocktail to match the film – the perfect after dinner event!
