Join Tony Bish, New Zealand's golden boy of Chardonnay, and Yvonne Lorkin, Hawkes Bay's leading wine writer, as they explore and taste trendy, cutting edge and innovative chardonnays from around the world.
Let your palate travel from Burgundy to Champagne, across to Chile and back again to New Zealand as Tony and Yvonne lead you in a comparison of the chardonnays made in our backyard with those produced in the most famous wine regions of the world.
Tasting will include 16 different chardonnays and canapés showcasing some of Hawke’s Bay’s finest produce.
Ticket price includes: 30ml tastings of 16 wines, 4 different canapés.
F.A.W.C! is a series of exceptional food and wine experiences set in stunning locations in Hawke’s Bay. Running twice a year, F.A.W.C! is a chance to get up close and personal with chefs and food producers, wine makers and the clever people that make up the New Zealand food and wine scene. F.A.W.C!
