The workshop explores dry point printmaking techniques, drawing layers of line and texture with drypoint needles directly onto perspex plates. Students will have the opportunity to create mono prints and/or editioned prints using reductive, additive processes.
Combined with this a technique called Chine Colle will be used simultaneously to add tone, colour and subtle texture to prints. All materials are included in the cost of the workshop, however participants should come with a few small drawings ready to transfer to plate.
