Double Book Launch: Brannavan Gnanalingam & Murdoch Stephens

Join us on THU 23 July from 6pm to release two new books into the world! First, Brannavan Gnanalingam's 'Sprigs' a novel exploring toxic masculinity in a private boys' school. Second, Murdoch Stephens' 'Rat King Landlord', a novel following one Wellington flat when their compost vermin seem intent on joining the rest of the aspiring classes on the property ladder.

Lawrence & Gibson are also pleased to be launching, in collaboration with Of BODY a perfume for the collective. Designed by Nathan Taare, alongside L&G editors, we're excited to be able to douse your copy of either book with the scent.

We're also looking forward to crone playing on the evening. They're a sci-fi goth duo and will perform after the launch in the store! Rad! Check them out via MESH.

As with all Unity launches, we'll gather at 6pm with speeches slightly after. Thanks Unity for hosting and thanks Creative NZ for subsidising the release of these two new novels.
