Summer, sand and kites galore!

Deep South Kite Day is back for another kiwi Christchurch summer. Pack your picnic, grab a kite and enjoy a great day out at New Brighton Beach.

There’ll be heaps of seaside activities for everyone. Build a sandcastle, play some fun beach sports, and watch the kites, big and small, soar on the sea breeze. You’ll see dragons, butterflies, and an octopus dancing in the wind! These colourful oversized kites are not to be missed.

If you’re needing a cool treat, Deep South have you covered! They will be at the beach serving their deliciously refreshing ice creams.

Get out of the house, stretch those legs and join us on the beach!
