Wellington! It’s finally happening! The long awaited return of international party icon Tomás Ford’s super-ridiculous Crap Music Rave Party! We’re throwing down the biggest party of 2020 at the very start – Thursday January 2 at Fringe Bar in Wellington from 7pm ‘til 10:30pm.

If you haven’t been before, you can request any song you want, as long as it's crap! Tomás is the world’s most hyperactive DJ, spinning the songs you love to hate as he lipsynchs words he doesn’t know, projects hand-drawn videos, serves up the finest hi-vis fashion, flashes Bunnings-bought floodlights, dons discount shop costumes and generally works overtime to be the biggest idiot in the room. His parties have sold out around the world and his Welly shows are some of the biggest parties that the universe has ever seen. So grab all your mates together, and psych yourself up for a ridiculous Thursday night.

Not sure what to request? Here's some ideaz: Peter Andre, The Safety Dance, M People, Culture Beat, Patrick Fernandez, Bryan Adams doing flamenco, 99 Luftballoons (either language), basically any pop song with "(Dance Mix)" in the title, the Top Gun soundtrack, Creed, Nick Skitz, Doop, pre-and-post-divorce ABBA, ABBA-Teens, Turn Down For What, John Paul Young, Savage Garden, TV Rock, Boyz II Men, Crazy Frog, Dannii Minogue ....whatever you want, as long as it's awful and we can dance to it, it's happening!

Tickets are onsale now at Evenfinda – book quick, Fringe Bar is cosier than our usual party places and is likely to sell out at some weird unpredictable time (Tomás’ parties tend to do that)!
