Class Comedians - Comedy 101 Workshops

Could you be part of this year's incredible line-up of talented high school students unleashing their new-found comedy skills on the 2020 Comedy Festival stage?

For over a decade, the Festival has run Class Comedians, helping launch the careers of some of NZ’s top comedians including Rose Matafeo, James Roque and Rhys Mathewson.

Past Class Comedians have gone on to write for and star on TV, win the Raw Comedy Quest, perform on international stages, win top comedy awards and so much more!

If you’re in Years 11 – 13 and reckon you could be the next big thing in comedy, Class Comedians is for you!

Come along to the free Comedy 101 Workshops this March. At these 90 minute interactive workshops for high school students, you’ll see some sweet live performances from top comics, experience different types of comedy and learn first-hand the basics of stand-up.
