Join us at Te Rauparaha Arena, on Saturday 5 December from 12 - 4pm for festive fun! There'll be something for the whole family to enjoy and everything is free.

This year we are capturing the magic of Christmas lights with a special walk through lights display.

Set out on your bike, scooter, own two feet, catch a bus or train or take advantage of our free weekend parking.

Christmas carols
The Red Caravan containing a band of Christmas carollers full of Christmas spirit will get audiences of all ages on their feet celebrating the season, come on down to enjoy a family friendly Christmas sing-along.

Santa
Don’t miss the chance to meet Santa and let him know your Christmas wishes. Santa has given us a special letter box to post your letters. While you are there capture this wonderful memory with a photo.

Food
Come down and grab a free Sausage or snow cone from one of Santa’s little helpers.

Christmas lights display
This year we are capturing the magic of Christmas lights with a special walk through lights display.

Activities for the kids
Bouncy castles, photo booth, bubbles, lawn games, face painting, Christmas arts and crafts stations, mini cars and more!

Christmas games timetable

1pm: The Christmas Wrapping Race
A race to see who can wrap the assigned item the quickest.
Points for time and presentation.

1.20pm: Tree Decorating
The best decorated tree wins. 10-minute time limit. Teams or individual can enter. Prizes for the best and most creatively decorated tree.

1.40pm: Santa obstacles course race
Dress up as Santa (outfit provided) and complete the obstacle course.

2pm: The Bauble and Spoon Race
Don’t let the bauble drop – run the distance the quickest, without dropping the bauble off your spoon.

2.20pm: Santa Limbo
How low can you go with your Santa belly.

2.40pm: Stocking guessing game
Can you guess the item correctly in the stocking?
