Chimera

In development for over two years, far before the word 'bubble' become a regular feature in our vocabulary, a beautiful cotton rag 300mm round paper was sourced. It was this shape that would become the common element to twenty invited artists producing nearly forty artworks.

'Chimera' features a diverse range of artists and artwork from an artist that layers acrylic paint and carves into it, through to an artist putting a contemporary twist on embroidery.

It is not only the medium that varies in this eclectic exhibition but also the subject and style with surrealism sitting next to abstracts and landscapes.
