Colour and Carbon Workshop

Philip Holmes describes his method, 'Colour and Carbon', as idiosyncratic and a technique he discovered almost by accident. He starts with a monochrome image in charcoal, carbon or conté crayon and then begins the process of removing, in order to shape it.

Finally, tints and glazes are used to apply the colour. In this workshop, Philip will demonstrate and share his method so you can create your own work of art.
