An evening of exciting new music from talented local bands Cake and Eat It and Castaway!
An entertaining evening is in store as two local bands both hailing from University of Canterbury bring exciting new tunes to one cracking local venue - Darkroom.
Cake and Eat It:
New rockers on the scene, Cake and Eat it have a bright future ahead of them. Formed in a dark corner of UC campus, they've been out and about local venues and festivals since their formation. After a tumultous year with a number of injuries between them, Cake are back with a new energy and new music to match!
Castaway:
Formed in first year while attending University of Canterbury, the 5 boys all found out they had a devotion towards music which led to the creation of Castaway. Starting with University club gigs, the band is now writing originals to be released in the future.
