Brickman Awesome: Epic LEGO® Creations is the latest exhibition from the mind of LEGO® Certified Professional, Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught, landing soon, exclusively at Auckland Museum from Thu 3 Dec 2020 until Sun 28 Feb 2021.

Free for Auckland Museum members.

Step inside the all-new South Atrium and you’ll be greeted by a towering NASA SLS rocket. The tallest LEGO® brick model in the Southern Hemisphere at 7.5 metres. Built with more than 450,000 bricks, it’s even equipped with a lighting and sound system, to blast it off into space!

But that’s only the start of the awesomeness that awaits inside the exhibition, which includes a life-sized LEGO® Harley Davidson and an incredibly detailed model of the DeLorean from the Back to the Future movies.

Then there’s the 2.5m orca, a giant redback spider, amazing cutaway models of ships and castles and much, much more. Altogether, these awesome models took Ryan and his team almost 5,000 hours to build!

If you’re feeling inspired, dig into two million LEGO® bricks and build your own awesome creation.

Entry every half hour, stay as long as you like. We're operating timed entry for this exhibition, to provide a great visitor experience. Book your preferred time to enter the exhibition, and stay as long as you like.
