You're invited to attend a presentation in New Plymouth with guest speaker, Associate Professor Bronwyn Kivell. As part of our Brain Awareness Month series, this is an opportunity to learn more about the many wonders and marvels of the human brain.

Associate Professor Bronwyn Kivell will be discussing her interest in developing treatments for better and safer pain medications. Chronic pain is poorly treated and current opioid medication such as morphine contributes to drug abuse. Associate Professor Kivell’s research looks at ways to make opioid medications safer and more effective at treating chronic pain.

Parking is available onsite, but it is on a first come, first serve basis.
Tickets are free, but registration is required to ensure you reserve a seat.
