You're invited to attend a presentation in Christchurch with guest speaker, Dr Nadia Borlase. As part of our Brain Awareness Month series, this is an opportunity to learn more about the many wonders and marvels of the human brain.
Dr Nadia Borlase is currently researching identifying neurological vulnerability in relation to trauma and developmental disorders. The Canterbury earthquakes specifically is what Dr Borlase is currently studying and how neuroimaging can help identify the long-term impacts of the earthquakes.
Please note, that this event addresses the Canterbury Earthquake sequence and the long term impacts of that on the people of Canterbury and may be upsetting for some people.
Metered parking spaces opposite the library on Gloucester Street, and metered on-street parks within a 5 to 10-minute walk to Tūranga are available.
