Three Ōtautahi Christchurch blues bands are coming together to perform a pumping night of music. The night will consist of blues, blues and more blues in all shapes and sizes.

Doors 8pm, music from 8:30pm.

High Street Blues Collective
Influences of the High Street Blues Collective include Muddy, Buddy and the Kings, Ray, Cray, and all the Bobs, as well as 70s Afro funk, down-home Texan country, and healthy doses of whiskey.

The trio are forging a new form of foot-stomping, barrel-house, dancefloor madness. Blu Step. Members Mr Robbie Bllue-Stroke’ Giddens (Guitar/Vocals), Mr ‘Don't Call Me Sugar’ Joe (Drums), and ’Big Daddy’ Klems (Bass) pay homage to the greats whilst applying an organic, gluten-free mixture of space and intensity.

Penny Blues Band
Deep in the heart of the Ōtautahi Delta there is a band.
A band that places their faith in the gospel of the Blues.
A band that embraces the past, present, and future of the tradition.
The Penny Blues Band: ‘In Blues We Trust’

South Street Trio
Sam White, Euan McTaggart and Cameron Walsh are all current students or graduates of Jazz School at Ara, and combine their talents to form the South Street Trio. Drawing on a wide range of influences between the three members, the trio perform old blues, new blues, and funky blues, as well as a mix of their own original music.
