Hobnail have been playing for us for a number of years and are one of our favourite bands.

This time they are bringing one of the most respected musicians in New Zealand as a special guest.
Wayne Mason is a great songwriter,pianist and vocalist.
Always great to see him especially with a great band.

Wellington's Hobnail are teaming up with the legendary Wayne Mason for this special "One Night Only" show.

They will be performing together, running through highlights from both of their extensive back catalogues.

These shows promise to be filled with great music and great fun. Don't miss out!

Hobnail are a Wellington institution. In 2019 they celebrated their 25th anniversary with a 5-Star (music.net.nz) Best Of album and a national tour that saw them playing to full houses all over New Zealand.In 2020 the tour continues as the band returns to some of their favourite venues around the country.

Wayne Mason is something of a Kiwi icon, having won the 'song of the millennium' with his song 'Nature', first recorded in the '60s with The Fourmyula, and also covered by the Muttonbirds in the '90s. A founder member of the legendary Warratahs, Wayne has also recorded several albums under his own name, 'Sense Got Out' being the most recent.

He has garnered accolades and awards throughout his career, and is one of the most respected songwriters and musicians in the country.
