What does it mean to be Indian in Aotearoa? How do our Indian Aucklanders cope with having a foot in both worlds?

This evening of kōrero is a partnership between Auckland Museum and Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development. Hear from members of Auckland's Indian community as they explore prejudice and pressures, as well as the joys, of their unique identity.

Our panelists include student and blogger Karishma Kumar; the current Miss India NZ, Kartika Singh; Rohan Adarkar from Totally Different; artist and educator Sarah Dutt; and Vinod Suresh, a Researcher and educator from the Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland.

While this is a free event it is ticketed, so get your free ticket to secure your seat.
