Bachata "Cool Moves" Open level - suitable for those who have completed Bachata, Salsa or Zouk level 1 and 2.
If Salsa is the King of Latin dance, Bachata is the crown prince. Very catchy music and easy to learn due to its simple rhythm. This style is extremely popular at Salsa/Latin parties as a contrast and alternative to the upbeat of Salsa music.
Bachata is slower and more sensual which in returns gives room to play with the timing and music. Bachata has in fact grown so much in popularity that it is rivaling Salsa for the top spot! This is mainly due to its dance fusion with other dance styles and fusion with mainstream music to create incredibly catchy tunes. All of this has made the dance evolve accordingly.
Join us for our 4-day intensive summer Bachata "Cool Moves" course!
What you will learn in this course: You will learn characteristic, fun and "trendy" bachata moves that will make your dancing stand out. Basics of bachata is required.
Summer is the season when we want to get away and do different things all the time to make the most of summer! Therefore we thought, instead of committing to an 8 week course why not do an intensive 4-day course to get your dance fix, try different styles and still have the freedom to plan a week away here and there over summer!
...and it will be a quick and easy way to get you having fun on the dance floor in a short amount of time.
No partner necessary! You can come on your own as we rotate partners and everybody gets a chance to meet and dance with everyone.
