Arty Crafty Club Mornings With Cath O'Brien

Ages 7 -12 years.

Creative freedom is the key in this popular weekend art club. Children are introduced to a range of materials and techniques to explore their own creative ideas using drawing, painting, assemblage, mixed media, clay sculpture and more.

Cath is a practising artist and has a Bachelor of Visual Art from Auckland University of Technology. Cath is a photographer primarily but also paints and sculpts. Her style of teaching focuses on both process and product. Children are naturally creative and intuitively know how to create beautiful and unique works of art. Her goal is to nurture and support this creativity through art. Cath likes to provide a dynamic environment with flexible structure for the children to explore their creative ideas within.
