Artists in Eden Unlocked

The Eden Arts Trust is pleased to "unlock" the new date and venue for its flagship annual fundraising event which was postponed due to lockdown earlier in the year. Artists in Eden Unlocked will be held on Saturday 7 November as an indoors community event at the Mt Eden Village Centre.

Come along to "Meet the artists" in the morning as they paint their rendition of the mountain Maungawhau and talk about their work. All works will be available for sale in a live auction at 2.30pm with proceeds supporting the artists as well as Eden Arts initiatives. There will be children's art activities, the raffle of a framed print donated by legendary local artist Stanley Palmer, and live music by popular jazz ensemble Nairobi Trio.

This iconic carnival day dates back more than 30 years and is a well-established feature of the Mt Eden Village arts calendar. Join us for a free family fun art day in easy reach of the Mt Eden cafes and bakeries, culminating in all the excitement of the live auction and the chance for you to walk away with your very own work of art for your wall!
