darkroom and RDU 98.5 FM present the second seminar in a series of free, informal, peer-run artist development sessions
August's topic is Funding.
We'll talk you through some of the funding and grant opportunities available for artists to apply for - including Creative NZ, Creative Communities, City Council, Music Helps, and NZ on Air.
We also give you some tips on how to write an application and what kind of criteria you'll need to meet and what information you will be required to include.
Whether you've been successful or unsuccessful in applying for funding in the past, or if you've never applied for funding before at all - come along to learn some tips and tricks for writing a good application.
Artists, musicians and creatives of any type are welcome to attend, regardless of experience or ability.
It's free to attend, and we'll provide some free snacks. The bar will be open if you want to buy a drink.
These events will be super informal and the idea is to learn from our peers and share our skills and experience with others in the creative and event industries.
Please note this event is held in a licensed premises and any under 18 year olds must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
