The event will highlight the current writing project in New Zealand, the past publications and the wide range of research interests of Amaury da Cunha, the 2020 French Writer-in-Residence at the Randell Cottage in Thorndon, Wellington.

The event will be conducted partly as an interview, and partly as an interactive Q&A session with the audience.

About the speaker:
Writer, photographer and photo editor at ‘Le Monde’, Amaury da Cunha is the Randell Cottage’s 2020 French Writer in Residence. His books include ‘Au fond de l’oeil’ (a collection of short texts about photography), ‘Histoire souterraine’, an autofiction, and several collections of images and texts.

Amaury is in New Zealand researching and writing about Minnie Dean, 19th century baby farmer, hanged for infanticide.
