Join Alzheimers NZ and key politicians for a discussion about NZ’s Dementia Action Plan.

We will host spokespeople from the major political Parties to discuss how best to address the growing dementia challenge facing New Zealand, and their stance on implementing the recently released Dementia Action Plan.

This political forum will screen on Facebook Live, starting at 6.15pm. To join this event, visit the Alzheimers NZ Facebook Page at that time.

Confirmed participants include:
Michael Wood (Labour - Co-chair of the Parliamentary Friends of Dementia group)
Tracey Martin (New Zealand First spokesperson for Seniors)
Julie Anne Genter (Green Party spokesperson for Health)
Maggie Barry ONZM (National - Co-chair of the Parliamentary Friends of Dementia group)

Alzheimers NZ Champion for Dementia Dame Kerry Prendergast will moderate the discussion.

This is your chance to hear these panelists discuss the dementia challenge and answer questions about the Dementia Action Plan.

Questions ‘from the floor’ to participants will be welcome, but should focus on policy issues. We will not take questions involving someone’s personal circumstances, or situations involving individuals.
