Alas it's Baser and Allen have been on a covid19 enforced hiatus for a few months. Both darryl baser and Paul S Allen have played solo sets around the south, but they haven't played together in public since March.
The two gents, with a combined age of 102, promise an enthusiastic set of covers and originals. Allen leaves his Zimmer frame at home and is set to stand for their set, while baser plans to sit behind a drum kit for the first time in Dunedin, having not played a full drum kit live since the late 1980s in Gisborne.
Bronwyn wanted to be overseas by now, but Covid19 prevented the rising star from following her career in the USA or Australia. But the international country music scene's loss is New Zealand's gain. Bronwyn has spent lockdown perfecting new covers and working on new originals, which she may debut live this weekend.
Koha entry.
